46 Finding your purpose is simpler than you think. We tend to complicate things and "calling" and "purpose" are oftentimes at the top of that list. Have you ever wondered what your calling or purpose is?
Where have those questions led you? Was it to clarity or more confusion? In your search did you begin to look all around you at what others were doing? I truly believe that though this is a Grand question that many of us ask, and I don't think it's a bad one at all! However, the answer to that question... I wonder if it's a bit simpler than we think.
What are your thoughts on the subject of calling, purpose, and direction? Listen to this episode as I ponder, question, and share some words that I hope will encourage you.

This episode of the Style and Stewardship Podcast piggy-backs off the last. 44 was about how God may use our pain or difficult seasons as the tools of our sanctification process. This week's episode is about God using our circumstances to grow and shape us.
My prayer is that whatever season you are in that God uses it for your Good, for His Glory, and for your Growth.

When it comes to being a believer and walking with Christ, there is so much for us to learn and grow in. Yet, we don’t get to pick what the lessons will be. We struggle against the very things God may want us to learn. We struggle against the process and if we are honest we don't want to learn the lessons that life throws our way. Interestingly enough it may be the very things that God may be using to grow and sanctify us but we want it a different way.
But what if we leaned into the lesson instead of resisting it?
What if we went through the tough season while submitting our cares, fears, and struggles to Christ?
The other side means going down a path we may not desire.
The other side may also mean letting go of our control and trusting God to get us to that other side.
I believe sanctification may be taking place through hard seasons.
It's up to us to lean into the lessons.
I don't know what Season you may be walking in but I know God is with you in it.
He will use it because He Loves You.

43 Sometimes the idea of dinner seems to hit us out of nowhere. It's like the last-minute Christmas shoppers *I'm raising my hand. We know Christmas like our hunger will sneak up on us if we are not prepared. One of the things I am trying to do is keep things simple and if you treat your meal plans (or lack of them) like I treat last-minute shopping... this episode is for you.
The last thing we should have to do during the busiest times of our lives is to not give our body the support it needs through nourishing food. You know, the food with ingredients that we can pronounce. The food that actually is considered fuel to our bodies!
But during times of so many other decisions, it tends to be one of the first things to fall by the way-side. Yet during times of busyness or stress, our body needs the most support, not just anything that resembles food. It needs actual food.
The best way that I have found to support healthy living and wellness is through eating well. I do this with my own simple system that I share in this episode (43) of The Style and Stewardship Podcast.
I keep it simple and also share a way that you can create your own system for eating well and nourishing your body.
This isn't an in-depth episode about food ingredients but one of eating whole, real food and utilizing a system to make meal planning easier. This takes the guesswork out so you can focus on each week ahead without having the added stress of the dreaded question.

40 This episode is all about direction, clarity, and discerning the way God desires you to go. Sometimes we have to get quiet in order to hear from God. Removing things from our lives and discerning what we are influenced by is so important. We don't get what we believe from the world but from the Word.

The temptation of Jesus, our temptations, and abundant living?
The longer I endeavor in my walk with Christ the more I see what the enemy likes to use with believers. Most of the time the enemy of our souls doesn't tempt us with "bad" things. I truly believe he uses what he used on Jesus during his temptation that we read about in scripture. I think he uses a combination of things like pride, and prosperity. I won't ruin the episode though. Listen in as a speak about some of the tactics I believe the enemy uses and what I'm learning from The temptation of our Lord.

We have all been hurt by someone at some point. Sometimes we have not quite healed, dealt with, set boundaries or forgiven those that have hurt us.
Some of our hurts are deeper than others and it takes Christ and some intentional choices on our part to heal.
In this episode, I am covering a topic that was submitted by someone else. I did my best to address this topic from personal experience and I hope it's helpful.
If you have a topic you would like me to discuss on a future episode let me know by sending an email, or a DM on Instagram and I will do my best to discuss that topic.

When it comes to Stewardship and being a responsible Steward in general we have to be intentional. We have to be diligent about managing what is in our hands and our personal lives.
Different seasons call for different things to manage. Discerning what season we are in is vital so that we know what we should be managing in each season that we are in.
We can say yes to A LOT of things and we can fill our plates with every request that comes our way. But, in doing so we may hinder what we should truly steward.
We can not do it all.
But we can discern what we have been given and use our energy wisely. We can manage with intention and discernment.
Listen to episode 35 of the Style and Stewardship Podcast as I talk about the [how] of stewarding and so much more that we can learn from the Parable of the Talents.
I hope it encourages you.
